How to keep your Bones and Joints Healthy?

Today i came up with a very important topic to discuss about. Here i will discuss about how you can make your bones strong and healthy. This is very important for you to take care of our joints and bones, if you are not taking care of your bones and joints in your early/younger age then you may suffer from some joint and bone problem when you will get older. So, i will mention some foods that will help you to maintain the different minerals and vitamins in your bones.

How to keep your Bones and Joints Healthy?

Minerals and Vitamins to keep your Bones and Joints Healthy:

1.Calcium:
Take foods that are rich in calcium. Calcium is the main minerals for your bones. It makes our bones and joints strong.
Foods: Milk, Dairy products, Green leafy vegetables, Sprouts.

2.Vitamin D: Take Vitamin D in your diet (although not many foods contains Vitamin D). It helps to make our joints strong. We can get Vitamin D from Sun.
Foods: Egg yolk, Cheese, Yogurt.

3.Vitamin C: It mainly helps to repair the tissue in cartilage of your joints. You must add foods that contains Vitamin C in your diet.
Foods: Citrus fruits like Orange, Watermelon, Berries, Tomatoes.

4.Vitamin K:
In studies it has been found that Vitamin K helps to increase the density of the bones.
Foods: Meat, Cheese, Egg.

5.Reduce intake of Sodium: In studies it has been found that intake of more sodium may decrease your bone density.

6.Less alcohol consumption:
Those people who drink a lot of alcohol they must cut off their alcohol consumption. It has been found that those who are drinking a lot of alcohol their brittle ness of bones is more then normal bones.

7.Do Exercise: You should do some exercises to make your bones healthy and strong.
 Some exercises/physical activities that you can do to improve the strength of your bones:
a.Walking
b.Running.
c.Playing football.
d.Playing basketball.

8.Do Yoga: You can do some yoga or stretching exercises to improve the strength of your joints and to make your joints flexible.
