Nutritional Needs for Teenagers.

Today i will discuss about the nutrition that are vey important for teenagers.

Teen age is such a time where our body starts growing and most of the changes occur in this period only. In this period of time we need a good nutrition to develop our body in a healthy way. Here i will mention some of the nutrition that teenagers should added in their  diet to make healthy body and to stay fit. Teenage is known as adolescence period.

Nutritional Needs for Teenagers: 

Protein: Protein is very important in teen age. This is the time when body growth is maximum, as protein is a body building nutrition so it should be taken by every teenagers in proper amount.

Carbohydrate: It is one of the most important nutrition for teenagers. Carbs is the main source of energy in our body. In teenage every one have a good energy and potential to do works so it is very important nutrition for teenagers.

Fat: After carbs fat is the main source of energy in our body, so healthy fat should be taken in your diet to keep yourself energetic.

Minerals: Minerals like irons, calcium must be added in your diet. Iron is important for our blood and calcium is important to make our bones strong and healthy.

Calories: A proper amount of calories should be consumed regularly. You must find out how much calories you should take in your diet. According to that requirement you should take your meals. It is very important to meet the calorie intake regularly for staying healthy.

Drink Water: You should drink at least 3-4 litres of water everyday. Water is very important for our body. It helps in regulating the blood circulation in our body, it helps to circulate the nutritions in our body. Water also helps us to maintain the body temperature as well.

Vitamins: You should take proper amount of Vitamins like B6, B12, B1, B2, A, C, D, K, E. Vitamins are very important for our body and it also protect us from different kind of diseases that can be caused due to the lack of proper amount of Vitamins.
