#Today our Topic is Carbohydrate foods (foods rich in carbohydrate).
           Before we know what are the foods rich in carbohydrate we have to know what actually carbohydrate is and how this is helpful for our body & how much it is important for our body.

     #CarbohydrateIt is one of the main nutrients for our body, it is the main source of energy for our body. Our digestive system converts carbohydrates in glucose and fructose(blood sugar) our body use this sugar for energy of our body cells, tissues, and to perform different function in our body regularly.

 The two main forms of carbohydrates are: sugars such as fructose, glucose and lactose. This are found in foods like vegetables(potato, corn, rice, bread, cereals etc.)

   Function of Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates provides energy to to the living beings, as i have mentioned above the simplest sugars like starch, glucose, fructose, sucrose are the form of carbohydrates, they are made up of sugar molecules joined together.

*Another name of simple carbohydrates is Monosaccharides.
